Grant's Zebra is a fairly large, horse-like animal found in the African Savanna. This zebra is the most popular of the three other species of zebra. They eat the coarse Savanna grass. They tend to weigh about 500-600 pounds and are up to 50 inches high. Large hyenas and lions are often lurking in the grass, trying to separate the stripes of one zebra from another and looking for a tasty meal.
